I did a search but it aint working. So, what aftermarket front sight do you guys recommend for the SP101? That little bitty black sight and my aging eyes just aint getting it. Anybody use Gemini Custom? They have the gold bead, as well as the fiber optic. Not crazy about putting plastic on my new engraved SP101 though. Never used a gold bead, anybody here have one and like it? Any other recommendations?

I have a Meprolight Tritium for my 3" SP but haven't installed it yet as I am waiting to do some other finish work on the gun. They have a different slant and some say it changes the POI. Couple of threads with pics of same:8) 8)

I use the red one. Huge improvement over factory.

I have the gold bead on mine, I like it. Easy to see in low-light conditions and even better in the sun.... Compared to a fiber-optic I have on another pistol, it's as good, if not better.

I see you can get them pre-drilled from Gemini now. That should make it easier for some.
I have been thinking about having adjustable sights put on my SP101, but lately I have been carrying my S & W 337 titanium out in the woods. Only 38Spl, but sure packs nice and it has a fiber optic front sight with adjustable rear. Very accurate with most everything I have shot through it.
My Sp101 now sits in the room where the 337 was hiding out.

I had the fiber optic sight from Gemini. It worked well in daylight but poor at night. I also had the meprolight tritium but felt it was still hard to see. I have sinced switched to the XS Big dot and am very satisfied.

I really like the XS Big Dot as well, here are some pics of one on one of my SP101s.
