My new Sp101 2 weeks old has some porosity, I do not think it is a problem other than cosmetic. would you send it back to Ruger for a part replacement. I called Ruger and they said the part must be fitted by Ruger, because i asked if they could send me just the part. Obviously a factory issue...

I am confused between the 2 laser grips for the SP101. There is model LG-111 and LG-303 and about a 90.00 price difference between the two. Any own both or have comment to which is better? Thanks!! Stashu

Just for fun? Why is everybody worried about a few ounces or a pound of pistol weight. Heck many people have to much excess weight themselves but are worried about carring a gun is a few ounces heavier. Hard for me to understand. Stashu

Tossing the idea of a SP101 .357. My only issue is what barrel to get?. It will be for carry only inside the wasteband. I am just worried about the recoil of a 2 vs the 3 inch, are they close? I know I can also use speer short barrel ammo if needed but will this diminish the 357 stopping...
