    125gr 357magnum HP recommendations

After using 357 magnums for 20 out of a 40 year career and seeing the devastating effects of our duty rounds back then, I still carry them in mine today. Remington 125gr SJHP. It wasn't just the velocity or penetration but before bullet core expansion the exposed unjacketed portion would flatten...

    GP100 Perfection

My 442 is my BUG on duty. I just love revolvers and the GP100 WC to me is one of the best. I carry it off duty. The compact grips not only fit my hand but they conceal better.

    GP100 Perfection

Had the WC GP100 for some time and loved the features but hated the large grips. I kept searching for the old compact model ones and after several months finally found them. Now it's what I consider a perfect carry/fighting revolver.

    WILEY CLAPP

He served this great country in both the military and with a career in law enforcement. When you walk with danger you formulate opinions and preferences. We all do. It does not mean those opinions will be shared by everyone. We all have the ability to glean information and make our own decisions...

    WTB GP100 Compact Original Grips

Hello, I posted in the revolver forum asking for help in how to tell the compact and full size grips apart when it's not described. So I'll just ask for help in locating them here. I have a GP100 Wiley Clapp Talo and would like the same style rubber and wood insert grip but the smaller compact...

    GP100 Wiley Clapp grips

Good morning, I have a question. I carry the above off duty. I have been reading here that Ruger made the same style grips(rubber with inserts) in a smaller compact size. How do I tell the difference looking at the pics of grips for sale when it is not mentioned in the description. Thanks for...

Advice on Ruger Revolvers for Carry

I purchased a GP100 Wiley Clapp 3" and did not plan on making it a carry gun. I ended up falling in love with it and now its my off duty gun.

    From 1911 to 345

Revolvertime I did in fact have an XD9Tactical some years ago. I had my primary go down during a competition and purchased it to complete the weeklong event. While a good gun it had some deficiencies I could not live with as a duty gun. It was extremely accurate though.

What he said! It now resides in a place of honor on my belt. 'nough said. ps-800 ounds in qualification and practice, no malfuctions. Luv this gun. I can hear my 1911s crying in the safe!

    From 1911 to 345

Thoughts and opinions on why I like the 345. I have been in law enforcement since 1975 and first carried wheelguns but when I carried a semi it has always been a 1911. Fit my hand the best, shot it better than anything else. Felt like an extension of my hand. Tried and carried others from time...
