Found this on Ruger's website. Shotguns no longer serviced. Red Label Shotguns (serial # beginning with "400-" or "410-"). Woodside shotguns and Gold Label shotguns. Hope this helps.
I have a 90's era that didn't shoot for crap with the factory hardwood stock. Receiver fit very loosely in the stock. Found a 60's era walnut stock at a gunshow and refinished it just because I liked the look. This stock fits much tighter and low and behold shoots more accurately. I believe...
California Kid. You have an opinion about the Red Label that is only your own. These guns are incredibly durable and completely underestimated. You can take your opinion somewhere else.
Don't know what is going on with your gun but I love my old LCP. Works great all the time and everytime. By the way, I bought mine used so it was already well broken in.

I have done some searches on the Red Label and am surprised with the comments on it. I...
Won't get my parts for a few days yet but I got to say that in the 25 years I have owned Rugers they have never ceased to amaze me. The only other time I needed service my Red Label had timing trouble after a couple years, Besides fixing that they did some other work for free that should have...
Called Ruger and gave them my serial number. Told them my concern and they said I did indeed have the incorrect inner spring. They said the outer would work but are sending me both no charge. Typical Ruger customer service. I told the woman I talked to that as big as Ruger is they still treat...
They do but that flare on the inner spring fits into a recess and centers the outer spring into the slide. Not sure about the replacements for the long term. Instruction manual even points it out.
