In my old fashion mind, the AK is the symbol for communism. For that reason I will never own one. But, I have no problem with Sig, Walther or HK. Go figure.

My dad took me to a Dodgers game. All I can remember about the game is that Dad kept talking about both Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale pitched in that game.

That reminded me of a Nat Geo tv show that recorded a falcon diving over 200 mph by changing their aerodynamic shape. Apparently, skydivers have learned to fall faster than terminal velocity by studying the Peregrine Falcon. It was a cool show. I’ll bet it’s on YouTube.

I use a vibrator tumbler to clean all my brass. I use a lot of range brass. Clean shiny brass will not scratch the dies and it easier to spot cracks. The brass looks fantastic, too. My scale of choice is a small digital Franklin scale. I weigh the primed brass, drop the powder and weigh again...

I use this glove. It has gel padding in the palm.

The Red Wolf re- introduction in the Smoky Mountains was a failure. The wolves couldnt get enough to eat. They killed everything in sight. Including cows. They were found 40 miles outside the Park. The project was eventually shut down.

Every time I bring out the silencer on a Mk IV at the range, I end up loading magazines for everybody at the range. It‘s a load of fun to shoot.

Use the supplied Ruger loader and follow the instructions for loading. The ammo will rim lock if you don’t pay attention, in my experience.

Pay attention to loading the magazines. CCI Mini Mags will run in a LCP II all day. CCI standard velocity runs good, too. Why waste time trying to get other ammo to work?
