I have a blued Speed Six in 38 spec. I would like to convert to 357 magnum. I have always heard the 38 and 357 guns were the same except for the depth of the chamber. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I to have an American Predator converted to AI style mags. Since I have a Gunsite Scout I also have a pile of magazines. Old 3 and 5 round Ruger polymer mags work As do new model Ruger mags, Magpul mags and AI style steel mags. Maybe call Ruger Customer Service?

My Predator model has Phillips head screws,#2 screwdrIver fits. if you want to increase the length of pull just add a slip on pad over the original. Adds 1 inch. My local Walmart has them for $20

I think one of the reasons for the accuracy of the Ruger Scouts is due to the stout, short barrel. Mine seems to shoot everything well,from premium match ammo to steel cased Wolf.
