I have been intrigued for years with the Single Ten. Yesterday, a guy I know who works at the gun store told me that someone brought in their dad's collection to sell ( I guess he died, but didn't ask). There were several Rugers, all new in box. One was a Single 10. It is a 5 1/2" stainless model. I'm not a lover of stainless, but I think these only come with satin stainless finish. It looks nice, but I really like blued guns. Anyway, I never see one of these here for sale. Never. So, when he messaged me, I took off for town. It was no great bargain, but now it is mine. Accurate right out of the box. Fiber optic sights, which are nice for my eyes. I'm excited to get this really dialed in and take it to Colorado with me this fall.
