Looking to trade my S&W 442-1, brushed nickel for a nice Blackhawk in 357 Mag. This is an alloy frame gun, marked Airweight. Plus $$'s for the right gun from me.

No, it is an Airweight revolver with a brushed nickel finish. It came this way from the factory. Harder to find than the blued versions. It has been back to Smith when a small piece of finish came off the cylinder. They refinished the gun for me. That was a couple of years ago. No box, but I do have the original grips. Gun is prelock as the photos show. Great trigger pull as well.

It has been my BUG when on patrol and carried as a CCW. Shot almost entirely nothing but 148 grain wadcutters out of it. Small number of +P, perhaps 25 or so. It is +P rated. The DASH 1 version was the first of the 442's to be +P rated.

I am replacing it as a BUG and CCW with a small 9MM. Planned on keeping it, but I like the Blackhawks. Plus SS's from me for the right gun.
