Hi, all -
As you may know, the illustrious leaders of the State of New Jersey voted yesterday to ban all magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition.
As a result of this obviously necessary action to keep those who live in this People's Republic safe, I find myself with two fifteen round magazines that I can either sell or trade to someone out of state or turn in to my local police department.
I have had these mags since I bought them new (and legally!) around 15 years ago and I've only used them a couple of times, after which they were cleaned and stored and kept meticulously.
The police, of course, will give me nothing for them, but at least they won't arrest me, maybe.
If I don't do one of those things within six months, I will be a felon and liable for a prison term of up to 18 months at a local judge's discretion. This being NJ, I would fully expect nothing less than 18 months!
So, does anyone here have a couple of excellent condition P89/P95 10-round magazines that they would like to trade for my fifteens? No exchange of money. I mail mine and you mail yours and we call it even.
Only OEM Ruger or MecGar, please. No Korean or Chinese knockoffs. This is a straight apples to apples trade deal. As per the guidance at the top of the forum, the approximate retail value of these magazines is $33.00 each.
