I'm finally selling my Spyderco Chinook 1 to fund other ventures. These Chinooks are very difficult to find (especially the 1) and this model has been long discontinued. It is a plain blade, which I'm told is less common than the half serrated models. This one also has a blade material of S30V going for it, which I'm told is more desirable from a collectibility standpoint (fewer made) than the more common 440 steel Chinooks. It's also reputed to be a better steel although I'm not up to speed on that. It's a heavy, solid, stout locking folder that Spyderco touted as a "Tactical Folder" knife. This one is used with no papers or box. I've sharpened it and it has pocket wear and some minor scratches to the G10 handles, pocket clip, etc. but overall it's still in very good condition. I originally bought it as a hunting knife and never got to use it in that role - throughout it's life it's only cut open boxes, rope etc. Anyhow, these are pretty scarce Spyderco's hence the asking price: was $215 shipped ..... now $175 within CONUS. If your out of the country and I won't go to jail for mailing this to you, then overseas shipping is fine but you'll incur the shipping/insurance costs. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, Randy.
