If you have a little guy or gal that is going to get started soon, this is the stock you have been looking for. I bought this used and already cut down about 4-5 years ago when my son was still smaller than I am. Needless to say, he no longer needs a shortened stock. I did not do this work but who ever did, did a really nice job. It looks like there was 2 cuts made then 1/2 inch was added back on. It also has a Pacmayer Decelerator butt pad added. I overlayed it on the regular stock to show the difference. From the butt to the trigger is 13 1/2" on the factory stock, and this one it is 12 1/2". You have to look close in the photos but it has another 1/2 inch that has been cut off, but has been added back in. Bottom line---this is 1 inch shorter than a regular/factory stock. I know my photos suck but they are the best I can do with what I have. If you want to see them larger with the ability to blow them up for a closer look, just shoot me a PM with an e-mail address. I was really tickled when I found this, and I am sure the next family to end up with it will be also. Plus you can keep your factory stock to put back on when your little guy outgrows this one. This was used on a .243. Sorry I didn't get a photo of the rest of the stock but it looks as good as the butt section shown. It does have normal wear as expected on a hunting rifle, but nothing major---no deep scratches, gouges, splits, cracks or dings.
