Brand new in box ruger model 1100 10/22 Takedown, Stainless steel, , this is no tax, no paperwork, no trades, no bullshit, cash and carry. Do your homework, as this rifle is the nicest breakdown 22lr on the market.18 or older, no felons or crackheads, you know who you are. 352-455-0300 I purchased a few of these and my plans have changed, I will keep one and let the others go. I guess I could ship on your dime to your FFL out of state, if you want to go that way. Pics can be emailed, cain't figure out how to embed them here I know my price is high but these are in very short supply. $450.00 You are welcome to make a cash offer, all I can say is no.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
Its called supply and demand, and supply is almost dried up, actually did not originaly get them to sell, but things change daily around here, makes no difference to me, yall can Rosie O'Donnell and moan and post links or whatever else you want to do, thats the beauty of being an american, i can ask whatever price I want to for what I own and you can Rosie O'Donnell about it, if the rest do not sell it wont hurt or bother me to leave them in the safe. Well I say american loosly, ( peoples republic of california dosen't count)

I wish you well but seriously they are being advertised at $299 online, $25 shipping from Hoffman's Gun Center.

I'll add this though, sometimes stuff does bid up and sell over retail on Gunbroker auctions. Could be worth checking out.

maybe we should just mind our own business. I don't care if this seller is asking three times what an item is worth. The best response is no response..................

Didn't know there was a forum police. Is there a book on setting prices? Missed that somewhere. If there is one maybe they should call it "Move on". How bout that. Maybe the guy has some run-off model with a cool serial number. People who chance buying guns that may pay too much and don't know any better maybe should not be buying guns. Food for thought or scary thought. Anyway don't think there is any saints left so let the man sell for what he wants and has anybody ever sold a gun that was more than retail. Let's see hmm maybe I have gosh don't know but I don't feel bad. Still sleep good.

Settle down fellas. No offense to the original poster, but let him list it for the price he wants guys. It is his choice just like it is our choice to buy it. IMO, I don't see how it will sell at that price, but he has the right.

Jon

Bought mine yesterday for 299.88 plus tax. Only paid that much because I wanted one NOW. The price will come down. Like the guy says, supply and demand.

One advantage of a Forum is we can help each other out. If the original poster can get his price, well that's amazing but good luck to him.

Meanwhile, helping each other out here:

This link should expand into all 10/22 Take Down models for sale on Gunbroker. Nothing with a starting price over $350 has any bids so far. Lowest is $305 at the moment:

Hoffman Gun Center is the Ruger Retailer Of The Year. Selling these for $299.95 plus $25 shipping:
http://hoffgun.com/ruger/takedown.htm

I use Gunbroker's Find An FFL tool to get the cheapest transfer fees I can find. That'd be $10 right nw near my zip code. Others run as high as $50 in the same city. Always worth shopping around!

We don't question the price one puts on ones wares on this forum,,as far as I know. I also believe that the members of this forum are fully able to research prices. No comment is the best response,,,,unless you are buying!

Kind of runs into that Freedom of Speech thing doesn't it?

I agree he can ask whatever he likes. Good luck to him too, I mean that, not being a wise ass.

But people can, do and should comment both ways. Wouldn't be rude about it though, see no call for that.

After all, it's only business.

Freedom of speech? Maybe that's what's wrong with this country. Even if you have a right to say something, it doesn't mean you should. How about some manners? The man has a right to ask any price he wants but I consider it very poor form to comment on pricing in another persons topic! It's amazing to me that you would list another dealer to buy from in someone else's "for sale" post. How would you feel if this was your sale and it happened to you? This is a Classified Forum to buy and sell, not a public forum to discuss anything. Perhaps your intentions were honorable and if that's the case you made a mistake. If you aren't interested in buying, don't add your 2 cents. It's happened to me several times and there is no excuse for it. Everyone here is smart enough to do their own research - if they pay too much you know what I always say - "Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted." I'll leave it at that since I have violated my own rule....

I appreciate yall who support my right to ask what I want, even an FFl dealer made a nice comment, and for those who are whining about it, please PM me your address, I have some cheese to send ya to go with the wine, free of course. I actually did not expect to sell them here, but thought it could not hurt to try, good thing is there have been lots of hits on this thread, and at the very least should help get the word out about Rugers latest rifle.

BTW- I will post in another thread what I find out about adding sling studs to the synthetic buttstock.

I do believe that the OP states to make a cash offer if you want....I have knowingly overpaid to get a gun that I wanted when I wanted, I have done it a few times...my right, my money....

Like I tell my wife, I have never overpaid for a gun...I have just bought a few too early

Leave the man to sell his gun at whatever price he wants...I wonder how many would tell him, if he was trying to sell them for 100 bucks each; that he shouldn't do it...the price is too low....

TA is correct,

Settle down fellows, this section of the forum is as stated "Classified Section"

Had a similar thing happen a few months ago and the Moderator's wound up locking the thread.

If you are Selling then Sell, if you are buying you certainly have the right to ask questions, etc...

Everyone else opinions DO NOT belong here, start a new thread and discuss it if you like, just don't do it here.

Any other forum I belong to would suspend or ban a member for crapping all over his for sale ad. Open your own thread in a general forum if you want to whine. Good grief, if you're all for having set pricing on things then move to Russia where everything is regulated and let me know how that works out for ya!

Thank you for notifying us that the "supply is almost dried up". I am going to try and find one locally and if I am unable to do so I will contact you immediately!

I just now saw this thread. Some of you guys should be ashamed of yourselves!! Having said that, if anyone had PM'd me that this was going on, I would have nipped it in the bud.

If you don't like an asking price, you can do one of two things; 1) make a private offer. Or, 2) move along. Simple as that!
