The scratch on the butt is from a horse too close to a rock, it shoots great, look in the lounge under Elk in the Frank Church, if you can stand to see my smiley face you will see the elk it got a few weeks ago. I'm just not going back to the long shooting country again. If I do, I'm taking my old friend from 1980 that just got a new barrel and wasn't broke in for this hunt...Greg
