WTS: Pre 64 Model 70 Winchester 22 Hornet

A splendid sample of a sought after 22 Hornet Pre 64. Should be a late 52 or early 53 rifle. Integral sight ramp as they didn't solder until 55ish. Straight stock which is more desirable than the Monte Carlo. All original rifle with amazing bluing. Pretty wood and and uncut stock (13 5/8 LOP) The bore is superb and the action and trigger are crisp and smooth. Very accurate rifle that sports an older Bushnell 4-12 scope. I actually really like the scope. Also still has the 22g rear sight and matching elevator. 24 inch barrel of course. 3600 plus shipping. Or 3600 FTF. C&R works here...

Yes they are. Standard actions are safe after 63,000 ish. And the hornet is a modified standard action. Magnums after around 110,000.
