Ruger Police Service Six, SS, 4" barrel, .38 Spl, DAO, NYCPD contract, s/n 162-41396, NYCPD armorer acceptance star on frame. Comes with the aftermarket Pachmayrs and a set of original grips. There is some slight pitting under the grips but not bad. The bore and cylinders are in very good condition. I believe this one just sat around after the officer left the force. There is very little evidence that it has been fired much as the hammer dog is in almost perfect condition.
I took it completely apart, cleaned in ultrasonic cleaner, cleaned the pitting, lubed and put back together
