This is an original Ontario RTAK that I got right about 10 years ago. It has been used, but not abused (no silly testing, just real world use). There are 3-4 very, very minute dings in the edge, but the blade is shaving sharp. 1095 carbon if memory serves.
A couple of the grip panel screws have mottling from rust. Not bad, but you can see in the pictures. I tried to get a picture of the "dings", but like I said, they are very tiny.
I threw away the original sheath as it was complete garbage. Made one myself that works well. In the style of the old trapper sheaths.
This is a pretty serious chopper. Total length is 17 1/16", sharpened portion of blade is 9 7/8". 3/16" thick.
