Sold Pending Funds - Forster Co-Ax press. I bought this new, but never set it up. It sat in my reloading room in the box until, one day, the supply line to our dishwasher gave out and our basement got flooded. The press did not get submerged, but a little bit of water got on the floor where it sat and the box soaked it up. As such, both steel guide rods got a little bit of surface rust on them by the time I got to it to clean it up. A little 0000 steel wool and oil took care of it, but it left behind some tiny stains. Doesn't affect function at all, didn't pit, and I bet you could polish it out. However, I never bothered. Once it was out of the box, I set it on my workbench and as it got moved around, a little bit of the paint rubbed off the sides. All of that is shown in the pics. Please note that the dark stuff on the upper part of the guide rods (like in the 5th picture) is dust. The staining is the little darkish spots below the deck of the press. It comes complete with manual and the tool kit. Given I've had it for a couple years now and still haven't set it up, I imagine I'll never use it and I'd like it to find a new home.
These are extremely hard to get right now. Midway and Brownells sell them for $300 plus shipping, but they are both backordered. Forster sells them direct for $440 and the only other place I can find one in stock it is $400. Save yourself some dough off even the Midway/Brownells price and have it in your hands fast for just $260 shipped in the Lower 48. I still have the original box, but I have not decided if it is strong enough for shipping. It didn't get much damage beyond some staining and a bit of deformation, but I can't guarantee you will get it simply because if I can't ship in that box, the shipping box I use may not accommodate the original.
Thanks for looking!
