This was going to become another custom project but I decided to do some upgrades on some of the guns I currently have in the safe rather than start another project. The gun had been shot by the previus owner and has some holster wear which the pictures hopefully show but it is still in pretty nice shape in the rare fluted cylinder configuration. The shipped price is $600 shipped via Priority Mail and it can be made in two payments if that makes it easier. The first "I'll Take it" posted followed up with a confirming PM gets it earmarked for the poster.

Thanks for looking and hope you all had a blessed Christmas.

The original bisley's like that have 7 1/2" barrels. I also have an order for an octagon barrel for this gun placed with John Gallagher for when he next runs octagons. The buyer of this gun would get first crack at buying that barrel if he/she wanted as well. I have an octagon 7 1/2" barrel on my 414 Supermag bisley and I think they are neat upgrades. This is what a 7 1/2" octagon would look like on this 41 Mag bisley.

I'm not crazy about the 7 1/2 inch octagon barrel but now a 5 1/2 inch octagon on that would be sweet.

Very, very tempting.
Someone please snag this....

Hey Chief, I do not think John has run the barrels yet so a 5 1/2" may be a possibility! Here is one of John's 5 1/2" octagon 41 barrels on my Bowen #5. :D The second picture is a 5 1/2" octagon by John on an old model 44 Special conversion. Just wanted to share the possibilities.

Thank you Joe, for buying this one. I have one just like it and I was about to buy this one and I really couldn't aford to buy it right now.

I had 4 digit OM 3 screw and a New Model and let both of them get away from me and I've been wanting one back ever since. Both I had were deadly accurate, hopefully this one will be also, and this one won't leave. I like the Bisleys but never did care for the engraved cylinders. This one solves a lot of problems. At least I still have some loaded ammo, I won't have to start from scratch, will have to get a decent mold though.

If a guy did not want to go with the octagon barrel you could always have Bowen do his Perfected Bisley package on it. This is the third fluted 41 bisley I have had and the Perfected Bisley is what I did to the first one.

They're all nice! I've been wanting a "special" .41 and this one is it. I just have to decide whether to leave it alone or give it a beauty makeover. I like the octagon a lot, but the Perfected Bisley is a clean and neat look...and I do like a 5 1/2....decisions....

where can i get a 44 cal fluted barrel? does the guy you are referring to have any?

think i found him?
