Tis is the next one to look for a new home. It is an old model 357 conversion to 41 Mag by John Gallagher. Short barrel, Bowen rear sight, XR-3 grip frame, drop dead ivories and Clements bisley hammer. The Priority mail shipped and insured price is $1925 or a guy can get it for $1650 and I hang on to the ivories and you install your own grips panels. A couple of payments is okay on this one as well.

The firs "I'll Take It" posted followed by a confirming PM gets it nailed down.

Thanks for looking.

Robb

Someone commented that it was too bad it was not a 44 caliber gun but with it being a 41 Mag a guy can shot normal 41 mags, normal 41 Specials or even 41 Special brass with heavy 41 caliber bullets and be right there with the 44 Special. Shoot, I'd even toss in 50 pieces of 41 Special brass and 50 pieces of 41 mag brass!

Yes...but that requires another set of dies, toolhead and caliber change...for me...to add to my already too crowded reloading area. Just ain't worth the expense or the hassle...even though it is a BEAUTIFUL gun.

Jim, Jim, Jim! What are a few more components among friends? :D I'll even send the first 100 cast bullets.

Now, you know that I am a sucker...for a sweet deal...don't believe me, just ask my wife.

Robb, that is a beauty and it will not last long...

If I had ever been gonna do a 41...that FA would have been it...dang it.

Thanks guys, this really is a sweetheart of a little gun. I wish I could take better pictures of the ivories so a person could really see the color and contrast in them.

"Mother Gue never raised such a foolish child"--how in the world is this sweet little gem still here.

41 mag conversion on an old model 357, cool in itself.
Custom barrel=cool
Bowen sight=cool
Custom Base pin=cool
Clements Bisley hammer=super cool
Quality boulder with years backlog=cool
Those ivory grips=priceless

Robb, like all the builds of yours, it oozes pure class. If I weren't indebted to you already for the 41 TLA, would have jumped on this one a while ago.

Hopefully someone realizes how great of a build this is and the value -- money saved and certainly time. Great deal on a beauty of a gun.

If you are swaying back and forth on the top of the fence... fair warning guys. This one has me seriously thinking about it. Trying to figure out where to get the money....

I love .357 conversions and Bisley hammers. I have a couple of .44 Specials right now so a .41 would be a nice addition. Somebody else wants it more, they better move soon before I lose control!

OK. I tried!

I just know I'm going to be really disappointed if I log in and somebody else has taken it. I've wanted/needed a short OM .41 for a long time and getting one that is a .357 conversion custom just makes it sweeter.

I know I've bought a few things from you over the years Robb. Guess this is another one. I'll take it.

With ivories.

I know I have $1600 or so right now. I'll start working on getting the rest. I can always send you what I have now. As soon as I can get to the bank and get a MO etc.

Gregg
