Offered here are 2 sets of Sambar Stags that fit the XR3 grip frames used for the Single Sixes and Blackhawks from 1953 thru 1962. Set #1 is pretty much standard thickness while Set # is thicker with heavy bark. Pictures pretty much tell the story. No medalions

Does set no.2 also fit a Colt,ie the extra holes?

Yes Set #2 fits Colt frames
Actually both sets fit Colts

No idea who made them. # 2 came off a Tri Color years ago I got from Rugerguy and am not sure where Set #1 came from

Do you know how much alteration it would take to fit a New Model Blackhawk or Ruger Old Army? Is it even possible to retrofit them?
