WTB: Weaver J4 or 3/4" Redfield 4x

Guys I could really use a mint Weaver J4 or a 3/4" Redfield 4x.

Would also like a new Weaver 3/4" tip-off mount

Try looking up Iron Sights Inc. out of Tulsa. He may have what you are looking for. This is the shop that took over refurbishing the older Weaver scopes and he deals with other older brands too.

Iron Sight Inc. is doing a complete service on my 80s vintage Redfield 4X 3/4". When you find one, look it over carefully. Over time the seals may let go causing loss of nitrogen and speckling on the internal lenses. Great scope....hope you find one.

I have 2 of the Redfield 3/4" 4x scopes. Make sure the original rings aren't stripped out! They're made out of the softest aluminum known to man. I sure like those little Redfield's though! They look just right on a petite .22.

About 2 years ago I found some original rings still in the bag I believe on Gunbroker. I quit bidding when they went over $60.
