Ruger will install one for cheap or (probably) for free.

I would think they would do it for free.
You will not only get a transfer bar , they will make sure everything is in good condition.

Ruger WILL NOT work on the Six series guns any more. However, you can call them to see if they still have the transfer bar in stock and get it and replace it yourself. Or go to www.egunparts.com (Numrich Arms) and you should be able to get one there. If these places don't have one, send me a PM and I can probably help you out.
