WTB Spotting scope holder

One that clamp on to shooting bench or can someone show or tell me how to make one, Brownells sells them for about $200,00 at my door. Dont got that kind of money.

Just tossing this out, would a camera tripod work if placed on ground along side bench. Good will type stores have them. I just got one for 15 bucks. It works great. I have a table top scope stand also, but do not use it on the bench for fear of knocking it off and needing a new spotting scope costing a lot more then the one I have.

Ref: kmoore's post. Have been using a camera tripod for over 20 years. Works well and no worry about knocking the scope off of the bench.

a bit of scrap thin rubber material, and a LARGE adjustable radiator hose type clamp
will work with most any base ,support you can come up with or think of.... 8) :roll: :wink:

I've never had any problems using a standard camera tripod, legs full length if beside the shooting bench, or legs completely collapsed if on a bigger bench.
