FOUND ONE--THANKS FOR SUGGESTIONS, READING MY AD!

WTB or trade for a Savage (made by Valmet) 20 guage O/U shotgun. Prefer 26" bbls. but consider any. (No 12s please; I have one already).

Please describe condition, bbl. length and chokes, and any modifications, plus price and terms. Pix appreciated. I pay with USPS money orders only. Seller must be willing to ship to a California dealer (I can tell you which ones locally will accept from an individual).

Email me at [email protected] or PM me here with what you've got.

.

I googled these, Mike - but IDK if either is still available or not (or if the 2 ads are for the same gun @ different times).

Thanks! Price(s) were OK and that's what I'm looking for, but the listing is inactive. I do cruise armslist although I've been told to be very wary of listings there.

One last bump for the weekend.

I guess guys who have one of these just don't want to part with it! Maybe I should start haunting (!) estate sales....

Mike ,
Your correct . I have one and it points better than my other (higher priced) over/unders . Shot my best scores at sporting clays with mine .
If I decide to get rid of it you will be the first one I contact .
Mine is a model 333 Savage (Valmet)
Thanks , Steve

Let me know, Steve. I also have a 333, but mine's a 12 that was restocked by a previous owner with a beautiful piece of walnut. Apparently the guy was a mutant or alien because the stock was made to dimensions that fit no known human being. I reshaped it to fit me (anthropoidal at least) and had it checkered with skip-line "French" checkering that works with gloves or bare hands. The first owner also made the safety inoperable (on purpose) and also turned it into a non-ejector for some reason. I got it cheap because of all these "improvements" and repaired the safety, but have never found the part needed to fix the ejectors. Fortunately I don't much like auto ejectors and the gun extracts perfectly.

At some point I'm going to sell this one off cheap and put the money toward a 20. If anybodies interested in it, give me a PM and we can talk. (333s are the deluxe version of the 330--nice guns but I prefer the "plain Jane" since I use these for spares and "rainy day" guns. I have an original deluxe Valmet "Lion" for "pretty").
