WTB Ruger Redhawk 5.5" .45 Colt Stainless

I am looking to find a stainless 5.5" Ruger Redhawk in .45 Colt. This may sound silly, but I am looking for one in memory of my Mother. I have a stainless Kimber 1911 with wood grips in memory of my Father. :wink:

I see it's listed as a Super Redhawk. I think I am going to hold out for a 5.5" model. I do appreciate the heads up and offering to handle my contact. Last year one of our members offered the same gun for like $679 shipped, so the asking price might be close for a new in box gun. Thanks again Hunter58! :D

Davidsons currently has several Redhawks in 45LC, but with 7.5" barrel. Must be a clean-up run.

I had someone on another forum point out the 7.5" that Davidsons currently has. I may go down that route if a 5.5" Redhawk doesn't come available in the next month or so.

Don't wait too long. According to their site, they only have 11 left in stock and I just put in an order for one of them.

Be patient and don't give up. In my opinion, the 5.5" barrel is just right on the Redhawk. I have one in 41 mag and it is the perfect size for woods carry yet long enough to be very accurate at the range.
