I'm looking trigger guard to fit a Ruger M77, tang safety, blued, short action

Midway and Brownells carry the replacement M77 MKII trigger guard. Does anyone know will this fit the old model?

I think gunparts has new ones for the tang safety cuz I don't think mark II's fit if you can't find a new I think I got one won"t be new though.

I emailed ruger and they don't have the parts. They did make me a generous offer--"send us your old rifle and we will give you a discount on a new model"
