WTB: Old Model Bearcat Grips

I'm in the market for new grip panels for my 1961 Bearcat. I would like to find a set of the factory original oiled walnut grips or any aftermarket grips of walnut or other hardwood. These would be to replace the epoxy resin rosewood grips (shown in the photo below) that Ruger used through the Alphabet Series and beyond into the early 1960s.

What condition are your grips

At one point I acquired NM Bearcat Grips and filed them to fit the OM frame. If I recall the area around the neck was the only place needing work. I think I still have those grip panels. If you’re really interested I can put them on and you can see how they look. Let me know!

Looks like I already passed them on to someone else. They did have to be fitted at the neck. It was posted in your other thread they are all created equal and I don’t think that is true OM to NM. With some work a NM set can be fitted to the NM. Obviously I was not a fan of the plastic ones at some point, but they do grow in you given the time period of the gun. Good luck with search!

All I could find was a pair for a New Model Bearcat which I learned are longer than the Old Model ones. I do have a set of imitation stag that are likely by Jay Scott as they have laminated wood backers. They are available if you want something different.
