WTB Colt SAA

yes I realize this is a ruger site, but hey, ya never know. I am looking for a shooter grade colt saa with a 4 3/4" barrel preferably in .45 but other calibers considered. Bluing wear is no issue. Let me know if you have one for sale.

thanks for the link but I am looking for a true Colt. I already have a clone. the 4 3/4" or shorter barrel is a must. I am going to use this as a sidearm on the farm and the longer barrels don't work well on the tractor. the seat configuration is a conflict.

I have a “bastard” New Fontier SAA Colt with a short barrel. Barrel is marked “44 WCF or 44-40”, can’t recall as I am not at home now. Kicker is that the cylinder is 44 Special. I also have a long barrel marked “44 Special” that would go with it. PM me if you are interestrd.

Oh yes, I am on the colt site several times a day. Trying to get one of the guys over there, to part with a Colt, is like trying to peel bark off a tree with a teaspoon.
