WTB 7MM BR Brass or Ammo

Lapua makes 6 BR brass and that opened up to .284 is superior to anything ever made by Remington. It's all I use in my 7BR XP100.

Probably have a hard time finding ammo, although I did see some new ammo the other day and I cannot remember the manufacturer.

I have had my 7BR XP for about 20yrs and have only used Remington brass(still available) and it has performed well for my hunting use.

Below are three new Lapua cases in 260 Remington, 22-250 Remington and 6mm BR. Ever saw any other brand of case with the annealing as evident as these?

I did not imply that you said that Remington brass would not work. I was only telling the OP that in my experience the Remington was adequate if he did not choose to make his own brass.

I am very familiar with Lapua brass...I just recently sold off the last of my unfired 6mmGrendel. I personally think that it is possibly the best brass available.

With what some people are asking for the Rem. brass, Lapua might even be cheaper. Was just trying to point the op in what I considered to be, the right direction.
I've never been happy with "adequate".

You will probably like it. I bought my gun with the intention of using a Hart 6PPC barrel that I have, on it. After I saw how it shot, I decided to leave it alone.

I just pulled my XP100 in 7mm BR out of mothballs. I'm looking for brass and loading recipes. I'm down to the bottom of my H322 and can't find any more - so I need a new recipe. Was using 25 gr H322 behind Speer 145 BTSP.

Anyone have load data for Varget, IMR4895, W748 or other powders? I've been using 120, 145 and 160's.

Also, the few load data sources I found: one shows a load range of say 28 -30 grains with 30 as max, while other source shows 30-33 grains for same bullet with 33 as max. Velocities vary widely. Arrrrgggggg....... Make sense to anyone???

Anyone been resizing the Lapua 6mmBR up to 7mm?? The shoulders are so different - do they get sized properly in the full size die?

I was getting low on N135 and found a can of Benchmark. It shoots real well in my 7 BR. I shoot 100 gn Sierras so my load won't work for you. A good source for data, is hodgden.com.
As for the brass, I use 6br Lapua. You may need to turn the necks to remove the small donut where the shoulder was at, but after that, they work great.

I have some 7mm br brass its Remington brand , New in the 20 round green and orange box,I think I have 100 pieces. Let me know if it's what you want. J.P.factory primed I believe.
