Here is a collectible pair of Rugers, both of the Buckeye Blackhawks with matching serial number suffixes. Both are in great condition, with boxes, papers, and shipping sleeves. I can't vouch for them being unfired, but they are both very nice. The Buckeyes were a limited run for Buckeye Sports in Ohio. The first gun, the S32X from 1988, is a convertible model with cylinders in 32-20 Winchester and .32 H&R Magnum. The second gun, the S3840 from 1989 or 1990, is another convertible with cylinders in 38-40 Winchester and 10mm Auto. Both have 6.5" barrels and steel grip frames. The S32X guns all had 610 serial number prefixes and the S3840 had the 611 prefix. Every S3840 that I have seen has top notch walnut panels with good figure. There were slightly fewer of the S32X made than the S3840, something like 5K versus 6K. Buyers of the S32X could reserve the same serial number in the S3840 but quite often they were not sold that way, so finding a matching pair is harder than finding one of each with different numbers. Ruger rollmarked the topstrap of each of these with the Ohio state flower, the Buckeye.

These are the only Blackhawks ever made in these chamberings. There were the 32H&R Single Sixes, and some limited Vaquero models with 32-20 and 38-40 cylinders, but no other Blackhawks, and offhand I cannot think of any other Ruger offered in 10mm, though some of the .40 S&W Vaquero cylinders were extended to 10mm on a custom aftermarket basis.

No Longer For Sale Here $1985 Now $1925 for the pair, shipped to FFL. OK for California shipment.

Payment plan possible

The S3840 box did not use a plastic stud to secure the gun but rather a zip tie that was meant to be reused. Nearly every one you find has that zip tie missing since most guys cut it before reading the directions!

The S3840 boxes did not have end labels.

This pic is one I had on file from another gun (I forgot to take pics of the buckeye imprint on the tops of these).
