Single-Sixer
I hate to do this, but I am raising money for a new Kimber compact stainless. This has been my daily carry for about 1 1/2 yrs. It is a 3" SP101 357 mag. I have taken all of the internal pieces affecting the trigger and polished them. At the same time, I installed Wolf reduced power springs and a Hogue Monogrip. Also, I filed down into the front sight creating a vertical flat surface and added pink nail polish. It acts as a partridge and makes the front sight sharp and clear regardless of the lighting conditions. All I can say is wow, it is as smooth...maybe smoother than a Smith, but as tough as a Ruger. This made the guns trigger as smooth as butter and it breaks like glass. Most people tell me they wouldn't even bother with cocking the hammer after they feel how smooth the DA pull is... To date, I have scared one snake and killed 6 White Tail deer with it (2 last season and 4 this season). (legal here).
I have the brass for every round I have fired through the gun....without digging through the closet, I'd say less than 400 rounds. All have been federal 158 JSP's and one box of Fiocci 142 gr FMJ's. Also about 100 federal 158 38 Spcls that someone gave me. I want 600.00 for the gun and am located in SW Tennessee. These guns are going for quite a bit on the auction/sale sites, and I figure that with the action job/springs/grips/ etc...it ought to be worth that. You can buy this and be confident from day one that it is smooth, accurate, and will put 2 holes in deer from 30 long paces. I will ship to an FFL for 20.00. Whatever extra it costs, I'll cover. Here is a photo set on Flickr for nicer/more photos.
