Want to trade my 4 inch stainless lowback Security Six (SN 151-093XX) for a 3 inch Speed Six. Really good condition, some minor wear but well maintained. Comes with original grips and 2 sets of target grips. I don't have the box or papers unfortunately. Bore is good, tight lock up, action is very smooth.

Not looking for a 2.75 or any other models right now. 357 preferred (GS33-PS, GS-33) but 38 (GS-83) would be ok too. Not looking to sell, just trade. I'm saving to buy a GS33-PS but figured if someone is missing this one from their collection then I'd be ok with trading. Not worried about box or papers (but it would be a nice bonus), doesn't have to be pristine. In the meantime I'm going to continue saving to purchase one, if a trade doesn't come along before then I'll most likely take the ad down. I'm in NE Ohio, FTF would be great but if not we can work out details for shipping to each others FFLs. Thanks for looking!

I know it’s not what you’re looking for but I have a S&W J frame .38 Spl.,1 7/8” barrel in great mechanical condition,no box etc. It was carried a lot more than fired. Any interest?

No sorry, I actually just got rid of my 642 last year. Now a 3 inch K frame in 357 I'd at least have to consider.

This is more of a collectors piece for collectors piece trade I'm looking for. There weren't a whole lot of stainless guns made on the original 150 frame, I've only seen 2 other than my own come up for sale. All the others I've seen are owned by other collectors. The only reason I'm willing to trade is because I really want a 3 inch Speed Six. I've seen quite a few (13 in the last year) come up for sale but they're not nearly as common as the 2.75s. Sadly there was one up for sale a few days ago, tried to get the seller to work with me but they never got back to me.

Come on, I know one of you guys got to have a shooter grade that'd be worth trading, you know you want this beauty 😉

Yes it was made in 1974, I called Ruger when I first got it and asked about it. I don't have it lettered or anything but I can call and make sure. I would definitely have to look into the process of shipping to CA and see if there's anything special I'd have to do. I'm guessing it can ship there because it's considered C&R?
