I am offering for sale here a number of vintage boxes for various U.S.-made revolvers. All prices include the costs of Priority Mail in a robust box. All offers will be respectfully considered. The notion of being offended by a so-called "lowball offer" is alien to me -- the worst that can happen is that I will politely decline, or make a counteroffer.

I prefer payment by personal check or USPS money order. I will also accept PayPal, but with a 5% surcharge added that I will donate to some cause that PayPal hates.

(BOX #2): SOLD. A box for Smith & Wesson Model 36 (.38 Chief's Special), blue, 2-inch barrel, round butt. Includes cleaning tool and gun paper, as shown. Includes warranty card with serial number "199708" written in ink, which would be about 1959. Written on the box bottom in white grease pencil are "199708" and "J-1953" (I don't know what the "J-1953 denotes). Condition is good -- the corners are a bit battered, but all the metal clamps are solid. $60, shipped priority mail -- any offer will be respectfully considered. (BOX #3): This is a very nice box, in excellent condition, for an Iver Johnson "Sealed 8" revolver. This was an 8-shot revolver in .22 caliber. This box is specifically for the Model 68S, with a 2-1/2 inch barrel, blued. The Model 68S was made by Iver Johnson only in 1952-54. The S" stands for "snub" -- this model was made only in the 2-1/2 inch barrel length. The Iver Johnson serial number written on the bottom of the box in red crayon is "N31683." There is also some light handwriting on the box which suggests that somebody for awhile kept another gun in it; this writing is not at all conspicuous. This two-piece box is absolutely solid and firm. There are a few stains, probably gun oil, not very conspicuous. The dimensions are 8x4x1.5 inches. $55, including priority mail.

SOLD(BOX #4): This is a box for a U.S. Revolver Company .32 caliber revolver, visible hammer, nickel, 3-inch barrel. This was a revolver line made by the Iver Johnson company in the early 20th century. The two-piece box is in good condition -- solid, but with visible wear, and some stains, which are mostly on the bottom. The dimensions are 7-3/4 by 3-1/2 by 1-1/2 inch. $40 including Priority Mail.

SOLD. (BOX #5): A box for a Walther P-38 semi-auto pistol. This is a two-piece box in fine condition -- a few little dings, but almost like new. The serial number on the side is 304514. I believe this dates to the 1960s. The approximate dimensions are 9-1/4 inch by 6-1/4 inch by 1-5/8 inch. $65, including Priority Mail.

*******

SOLD. (BOX #6): A box and accessories for a Walther Model PP 9mm pistol. This is a two-piece box with a red "alligator" (or "snakeskin") exterior. Also included is a test target for serial number 24163, dated 14 October 1966. The same serial number is iis printed on the factory sticker on the outside of the box, and is printed in pencil on the inside bottom of the box. Also included, two tools, as shown. Everything is in fine condition, almost as new. The dimensions of the box are about 7-3/8 by 5-1/2 by 1-1/2 inch. $75, including Priority Mail.
