Do the tops stay on these better than on the Zippos? I have a couple of new Zippos, and I'm afraid the tops will pop off in a pocket and expose the catalyst to the cloth.

They have a good snug fit and the tops stay on pretty well. I have use Jon-e hand warmers over the years when deer hunting, salmon snagging and shoveling snow and never had a problem with them. It is important to follow the instructions that are included.
