Have a question now after pawing over a pal's rifles. Just the ones still NIB...

I'm taking opinions on two guns (elk tag will be mine).
One Winchester M70 NH-made Classic Featherweight 270WSM. Darker American walnut stock, hi gloss blue metal.
One identical twin in 300WSM, medium dark American walnut wood, hi gloss blue.

Both are as-new in the box, papers, lock, etc.

These are 1994 guns per receipts, New Haven rifles.
What cash would you lay down for each?

I've got a few Winny's know nothing of the modern stuff I go for pre 64.

Fair price? Log onto Gun Broker search past auctions you may find guidance. Good luck. ps

GB is usually the first stop. But the pricing has to factor in the shipping and transfer fees, which raises the sale prices a bit and unfairly by $50-100 per gun(and you must disregard all the reserve auctions).
I am finding the New Haven guns are running right at 950-1095 in WSM calibers, when truly NIB unfired condition, sometimes more. The 325WSM run higher when you can find them, but most have been molested. Add $100 if using an auction website for values .

S'ok. There doesn't seem to be many/any members opining on the Rifleman's Rifle lately. The WSM chamberings are among the best game cartridges made, and the Featherweight guns are classy on the rack and in the field. Call me traditional...?
