I ran across a Wilson / Ruger Redhawk Hunter today. First one I have ever seen. Has Burris 4x scope box and all paper work. Had been shot 12 times looks new. When were these made? How good are they and what would one be worth.

I remember when he was building them,,and an Article in American Handgunner I believe,, but I for get the year.
The article featured him on a Safari for some of the Big-Five,, he took a Lion as I recall not sure what else.
He also developed a special load for his Redhawks,,,A Wilson Hard Cast 300 Grain LFN Bullet,,on top of 26.0 Grains of Winchester - 680. It was a stout load (at least to me) He called it "Wilson's Anything,,Anywhere Load" I've got about 1/2 a box in the ammo cabinet.
Price I can't help you there,,,but I have never seen one other than the guns in the article.
