Why buy a Threaded Barrel 22/45?

My dealer recommended the ACC models. in particular the PILOT 2, over the Element since my current plans are to use it just with the 22 and the pilot is some what cheaper

Nothing wrong with the Pilot 2, its a darn good suppressor, and the original Pilot is pretty well responsible for the NFA bug.

FRP is the loud pop that some suppressors exhibit on the first shot. While most .22LR suppressors are totally hearing safe, that FRP is generally not hearing safe.

Yeah, I figured that there was only one reason to have a threaded 22/45. It took 163 days pending, but it was approved 2/29/12.
