What model is it ?

I bought a 77 new a few years ago and I cannot remember which model it is.
Laminate stock, 16.5" barrel and barrel mounted scope ring base.
Chambered in 358 Win. it is wonderfully accurate in spite of the short barrel and is one of my favourite rifles to carry.
It has proven itself capable of filling Mulie tags and even stopped a Bull Moose one cold nasty day..

The barrel mounted scope ring base identifies it as a M77 Frontier. If the barrel scope ring mount wasn't there it would be a M77 Compact. Both were available with laminate stocks.

That's correct. Had a stainless 358 NIB for awhile. Sold it for $900 IIRC.
