Hey all & thanx for the opportunity to post. I acquired a mini-14 SS with factory installed bayonet lug. I see lots of mini-14's advertised as GB, LE, GOVT. etc. My question is how to determine which model I have? The only markings I can find are the factory stamps on the upper rear and left rear of the receiver. the upper rear identifies it as a "Ruger mini-14 ,223 cal." the side markings tell you where to get the owners manual. There are no scope mounts machined on the receiver, I'm guessing not a ranch mod. Would someone be willing to help identify please :?:
