This scope is an El Paso made steel tube Weaver of fixed 8 power with a 56mm objective lens. I bought this scope new in 81 or 82 I don't remember exactly, from Mr. Glenn who at the time owned the T.K. Lee company and learned the process of installing the Lee dot from Mr. Lee himself. Mr. Glenn also sold a few scopes out of his small shop in Homewood, AL. Shortly after I started working at the fire department there I was told "some guy down the street sells scopes out of his shop". You older guys will understand my surprise when on the door was a small placard which simply said "T.K. Lee Co." Anyway, Mr. Glenn had a few scopes in his safe and I selected a K2.5 and this scope, which he said was Weaver's answer to the large objective Kahles scope which had a certain popularity at the time.
This scope has been mounted and used a little as you can see. It has the dual X reticle and in low light situations is like turning on the light! This scope must not have been assembled in the cleanest of environments as there is a tiny hair like piece of something near the bottom at the edge which is not noticeable in use but there is a dark spot of something that is in the picture that is obvious that appeared at some point. The reticle and glass are crystal clear and the scope is perfectly usable, but that dark spot is there. This scope has the excellent Micro-Trac adjustment system. Considering the defects, I am offering the scope for $85.00 shipped and insured.
