wanted Uncle Mikes Checkered rubber grips

Been wanting a set for a long time for one of my P93's. The checkered hard rubber ones.
From time to time I will post a Want to buy.
Never got a response, but figured it's time to post again.
Maybe someday, someone will read this and figure its time to part with a set. :lol:

I don't know of a checker grip for the 93. There is factory and the hogue. UncleMike made checker grips for the p85,89,90,91 but they don't have the cut out required to fit the p93 &94.

Is this the grip you are looking for? Post more detail if possible. I am a P-gun nut and like to think I know a lot. I'm sure there are guys that know more but I'll try to help if I can.

I have modified a set of the uncle mikes to fit my P93/4 so it cam be done.

I have seen them on a P93 and they look great. Now whether they were modified or not I do not know. But it was a member here posted a picture of his P93 with a set on it.
Maybe we can get the picture again if they are reading this with a tip on if they had to be modified.

I found them.
Sig shooter had posted a picture, and glockmutt found a set, and said it took a little modification of the left grip but it worked.
Here is glockmutts gun. These are the grips I want.
This looks like a 94, but it should work with a 93 as well I would think?

These were made by uncle mikes and then by butler creek. I found most of mine on ebay. Approx. $15 bucks but could be as high as 30. Depends on how bad you want them.

Here is a picture of the mod you will have to do. Basically the trigger spring hangs down by the mag and you have to make room for it to move in the grip area.

I cut more of the rubber out than I needed to but it was my first time trying it and cut to low. Doesn't really matter though. After the rubber is cut out of the way you need to take a flat punch and reform the metal so it bulges out a little to give the spring clearance. Trial and error here.

You can see on the factory grip you take off how low you really need to cut the rubber. Even the factory and hogue are lower than you need to go.
