This is probably a long shot, but I'm looking for a right hand El Paso Saddlery Austin 1930 holster for a 1911. I can order one new as they still make it, but thought I'd take a shot looking for a good used one first.
Thanks

In one of the first gun mags I ever read, I remember seeing a basketweave stamped El Paso 1930s Austin holster with matching mag pouches complimenting a nickled series 70 .38 super. Talk about a gorgeous rig! I still have that magazine. I make holsters now, but I still wouldn't mind buying one of those someday. You should put a WTB add in 1911forum.com as well as coltforum.com if you don't get any responses here. Good luck, and when you do get one, post some pics of it! Paul

Paul,
I too love the looks of this holster! I want to match it with a El Paso Ranger Belt. I don't mind buying new, but wouldn't mind a gently used one either. I'll take a look at those other forums - thanks.
