Vortex 2-7x Scout Scope

I purchased this in December for my M1a Scout but have decided to go in a different direction. Taken to the range 3x and put back in its original packaging. It doesn't even have any ring marks and Vortex has a no bs warranty; even if you break it. $120 shipped, postal money order or PayPal f&f. Reg PayPal add $5

What's the reticle?

Is this a true scout optic?

Was it clear when you had it mounted in the forward Scout location?

Of course, it works well but I enjoy shooting open sights with my M1A.

I have this same scope mounted on my 1895 Marlin Guide Gun and it works great.

I will also confirm that in my experience it (a different Vortex 2X7 Scout Scope, not the one for sale) worked well across the range of magnification.
