A Viet-Nam era Redfield USMC issue "Greenie" 3X-9X Accu-range
sniper scope.
This example is an ORIGINAL (NOT a current re-creation/foreign
wanna be) USMC issue scope for the M40 issued to the US Marines in SEA,
it has the correct "F" prefix serial # exhibits the green anodized-patina finish
with slight color variations, the "Tombstone" range scale is intact, all in all it's
in excellent condition for a 50+ year old veteran, ONLY 700 of the greenie/Gen I
optics were reportedly manufactured with the vast majority not surviving their tour.
These rare optics have SOLD on various web sites for $4000.00+ due to rarity
and demand from collectors...…..my price is $3200/OBO and I will consider PART
trade of H/B varmint rifles.
