Varget powder question

Has anyone loaded Varget powder in the Dillon 550B ?
Someone told me it doesn't drop a charge well because it is an extruded powder. He said I should stay with ball powder.
I would be loading .308 win and 300 wsm.

I use it in my 308 with a RCBS Uniflo no problems with metering!

I would set it up, drop some charges, & measure for consistency. It would work for both rounds. I usually go a little slower with the 300wsm, H-4350 with 165/180 grn bullets.

I have a 650 but I believe the powder drop is pretty much the same. I can't get much better than +/- .2g with Varget and sometimes a little worse. I load range ammo on it and stay mid-range on the load charts. For accurate stuff, I hand weigh and single stage. I really like loading ammo so I don't mind the extra effort.
