Used holsters

Hit the used holster bin at the lgs again today. Came up with a very nice Bianchi 1890H western holster for my Blackhawk. Cost me a whole $20.

All told that's 4 very nice used holsters in the last couple months for a total outlay of $70.

I love hitting the used holster bin. In one store it was an old nail cask. I bought this Bianchi for $10 for my Model 27, I paid $5 for the cartridge slide and five for the Tex Shoemaker speedloader pouch.

I was given a really nice floral carved Tex Shoemaker holster for my pre-Model 10. The guy who had owned the gun shop where I got it had recently died, and his daughter gave it to me. It was pretty worn but there was nothing wrong with the leather. So I cleaned it and then redyed it black. You know have no idea some of the nice treasures can be hidden in the holster box, I have some nice cartridge slides, speedloader pouches and holsters for a lot less than new.

i never find any tan holsters in any of the used leather bins... however, i did find a speedloader pouch in one once. good score!
