You might recall, my SR9C was sent back for trigger reset issues. It came back fairly quickly and was "perfect." However, the trigger guard was chipped either at the factory or in shipping (I doubt that). They replaced the frame as promised. Took it to the range today and had one stove pipe in 50 rounds (WWB). It happened at about 30 rounds and it performed well the next 20. For now I'm attributing this to the ammo. I had no such problems prior to sending it back other than the trigger issue. As for the trigger. It really is great. I love it. Love the SR9C despite the fact it had to go back to ruger twice. I have to say again that Customer Service at Ruger is the best. I called to check on the status of my gun and asked the rep to please email me when the gun shipped. She came through and sent me an email on the ship date along with a UPS tracking number. Very happy with their customer service.

Took my new LC9 to the range with me and shot 50 rounds without a single problem. Really getting used to the long trigger pull now and I shoot good groups. I will emphasize here the smoothness of this trigger pull. It is not hard to get used to. I am extremely happy with both these Rugers and I am now considering going down to the LCP for my wife. :)

Glad to hear that the SR9c did well. Also glad that Ruger fixed you up, I was wondering how that went. Good Shooting

I think the LCP is a good little pistol but it sure bucks more than the LC9. I would let her get use to the LC9 first, it will make shooting the LCP seem like not such a big deal.
