Unusual/Rare XR3 Grips

Along with collecting guns, grips have always been a keen interest for me and I have added them to my collection over the years. Shown below are factory XR3 grips made of ivory, cocobolo, highly figured walnut, stag, and rosewood. The grips made of cocobolo and rosewood are the only ones I have ever seen and the stag grips are very unusual in their colors.

Hmmm... never seen cocobolo XR3 before.
The thinking on this is that the maker (SILE) accidently got a stick or two of rosewood (or now also cocobolo) in their stock of wood meant for Ruger XR3 grips.
