I received an early birthday present from my brother---an old field manual, titled:
FM 23-35 War Department Field Manual
PISTOLS AND REVOLVERS
War Department . June 1946
Stapled inside the front cover and labeled Restricted is "Training Circular No. 10----Weapons Familiarization Courses. Inside the back coverand also "restricted" is "Training Circular No. 9---Qualification Scores".
This covers the 1911 and 1917 model pistols, and their use.
My brother included a comment---"I doubt thet the latest edition includes the horsemanship section."
