I bought this to try on my Freedom Arms Model 83, hoping that the 1MOA dot would work better with my astigmatism than larger dots I've tried. It didn't, so this one needs a new home. I bought this dot new from B&H Photo earlier this month, mounted it on my Model 83 torquing the screws to 15-inch pounds, and fired five rounds of a mild .45 Colt hand load (250gr Hornady XTP over 10gr of Power Pistol) before deciding to go back to a magnified optic. Dot shows no signs of use and works as it should.

I also have a Freedom Arms mount for this sight that fits the Model 83 revolver, complete with original attaching screws and instructions. It is also in very clean condition having only been used to mount this sight. I'd throw it in the box for an additional $50.
